Useful app.

This was a great app. But now I’m seeing ‘No predictions available’ for AC transit and BART regularly. This is unfortunate because this renders the app useless.

Perfect again (once I deleted and reloaded). Everything I need, and nothing more. Clean and well-designed, no muss, no fuss. Great for us city dwellers who know where we’re going and familiar with Muni bus routes. I love this app so much. Gladly paid for premium. Thanks again!

Disappointed that this “San Francisco Bay Area” transit app doesn’t include the Northbay and the Golden Gate Transit system.

No longer does the app indicate the direction. Unable to determine whether the direction is going inbound or outbound. It used to be there but no longer. So disappointing.

This was a great app but it is no longer supported. It no longer shows arrival times for trains in my area.

Stopped working

No predictions on any routes. This started about a week ago. Bummer. I used to rely on this app for all my transit needs.

For some time now Routesy simply fails to give an expected time. All I see is No Current Prediction which makes the app useless

For SF muni the T Chinatown is still not updated. Line has gone all the way to Bayview for months but their data still only goes to 4th and Brannan. Completely useless to anyone in Mission Bay, Dogpatch, or Bayview/HP

This app was great up until about 5 or 6 years ago. It’s Muni function has become increasingly inaccurate and unreliable. I can’t speak to the other transportation services on the app since I rarely use them. But the Muni function is becoming unusable: for many of the stops I use the app will indicate “No current prediction” until a bus is less than 5 or 10 minutes away—and for the #1 outbound bus at Clay & Drumm it never gives a prediction. And for those predictions it does give, they’re generally a couple of minutes off. I emailed the app administrator 2 weeks ago with no response, so I’m assuming he’s no longer interested in maintaining an updated app. Two apps that I’ve found to be reliable and accurate—though not as user friendly as Routesy used to be—are Bussr and Busly.

I used to love this app, but it doesn’t seem as reliable anymore and hasn’t had an update in years. I guess I’ll have to find a new app.

Time stamps on all routes need to seriously be updated the app used to be great and very accurate on bus times, now you basically have to hope and refresh to see if a bus is actually going to show

Don’t know why you are still so unreliable now that life has returned to normal but you never have predictions any more. I’m going to find another app.

Been using this app for years, it remains consistently wrong, and makes me late. Don’t get it.

Why have an app that is there to tell you the time of departure for your bus and 85% of the time is says “no current prediction”? Useless.

No predictions for the past two days

The arrival times are next to useless for San Francisco muni. No arrival times available is most likely response.

The app is useless since it never offers predictions.

Used to be the most reliable but now doesn’t even show correct prediction times. Most of the time it doesn’t even have prediction times for the 27 or T lines.

I used to like this app. There have been a lot a lot of changes lately on Muni in San Francisco and Routesy HAS NOT updated the new lines in the subway or the re-instated/re-routed bus lines. I cannot use it unless it’s an old route. I moved on to Moovit, Routesy! You’re losing customers here and with all the tech savvy folks out there, it’s a no brainer. Huh?

Does not predict ANY of sf 7 muni buses, no matter the time. I have to use google maps for that. This app used to work ok and be reliable many years ago - now it’s terrible.?

the next paragraph sums it up mostly true; at times the predictions are way off. i cant tell if its routesy’s fault or muni’s but thats why 4 stars and not 5. this is the most used app on my phone, invaluable if youre trying to plan the most efficient route to your destination. one of the best features of Routesy is its simplicity; the interface isnt muddied with a bunch of superfluous bells and whistles. good job!

Abandon ware

Now it is useless. It used to show a map of the lines in your area. If you chose a line it showed a map of all the stops. It used to show alternatives - essential on Market or Mission. No more. It also seems very inclined to No Prediction on one screen and gives you one in another. It is broken. Dumping it and looking for better.

The app does what it does well; I use the app daily. I’d like to see the bus as a dot on a live map in the next update. Some other apps do that.

Did love this app before Civid, and now the predictions don’t populate. Have to use another APP. Citymapper.

The app hasn’t worked in San Francisco in about a year. Always says No Current Prediction. I used to use it for everything but now I’m going to delete.

I had an issue with this app and tweeted at it with my concern. Imagine my surprise when I got a response from the creator who looked into the matter. This app has been a game changer for me since I first downloaded years ago. Wonderful app and even more so today !

‘No Current Prediction’ … Is the answer to the question, ‘Is my bus coming?’ This app is as unreliable as MUNI is unreliable.

I've been using Routesy for almost 10 years. I've really appreciated it especially during the corona pandemic for Oakland. Even before San Francisco bus stops regularly have had issues with display times, for a myriad of reasons. Is it one disappointment, has been with BART. Their website allows a full view is trains and graphical interface to quickly select between trains and stops. Coming home from work, I usually try to find the bus that will leave quickest. To make that transit, I might have to get off at West Oakland, 12th St. or Lake Merritt. Allowing me to see stops ahead and before and/or having a visual cue of where the trains are allows me to determine what is going to be the best option because I have to pick a train going North or South. Same for getting to work, it might be better to get off at the Civic Center or 16th St. in San Francisco. With your app I'm trying grow quickly fidget between destination in place in through all the names there's no search there's no graphical thing that I can just push a button. So that would be really convenient. Finally, I appreciate that you have kept this app free for all these years using unobtrusive advertising.I work in the education and nonprofit sector and I've always struggled with directions and easily getting lost, having all of the transit center is in one app though has been awesome
